Irresponsible media types began blaming conservatives for the Tucson shooting almost moments after it happened. But one conservative talker is not going to sit still and take the abuse.
Newsbusters' Noel Sheppard reports Friday that conservative talk show host and attorney Mark Levin issued a stern warning to liberal media personalities. Anyone who tries to tie him to the shooting will get sued.
Levin said it was time for conservatives to stand up for themselves and draw the line against those in the media who deliberately smear conservatives for any act of violence:
Now I’m going to tell you something. Maybe I shouldn’t, but I will. I’m waiting for an allegation that is very specific against me because I’m going to sue. I don’t care if they’re bloggers, I don’t care if they’re television hosts, I don’t care if they’re radio hosts. I’m going to drag your ass into federal court. Oh, you’ll have due process. It’ll all be nice and legal. I’m going to personally depose you. I’m going to drag you in front of a jury, and I’m going to get your assets.
The American Spectator reported that Levin also challenged MSNBC's Chris Matthews to find any example of himself or Palin promoting murder.
According to the Spectator, Matthews implied that rhetoric from passionate hosts like Levin and Michael Savage had a role in the Tucson massacre.
"I challenge Chris Matthews, I'll put $100,000 on the table, to find any example where Sarah Palin has promoted the murder of anybody," Levin said. Levin continued:

Levin knows that it is false to assume because someone is a public figure they cannot take action in court when libeled and slandered.

I would love to see a flood of lawsuits against the state run, commie “media”. It would be a real hoot watching the “media” maggots claiming their First Amendment rights to defend themselves for targeting, slandering and libeling others who were using THEIR First Amendment rights.
Actually, we should start using THEIR tactics and sue these moonbats for slander or libel. That would shut their hate speech up

I would love that too. Use their own tactics against them. Drag them into court. Make them defend themselves and bleed their coffers dry.
While they are at it, they should figure out how to part Soros and his money. If there was a way to bankrupt his fortune much of this we are dealing with would dry up and blow away.

I’m usually not crazy about the over-litigation in our society but there is a time when you need to take a legal stand and not roll over. This is one of those times.
I would give a weeks pay to see some of these turds in the media sues out of existence!
The more I think about the more I wish Rush, Palin, Hannity, Levin, would do just that.
That would definitely change their blame game, remove their media template and shut their pieholes real quick.

matthews already accused him- so will he be taking matthews to court?
where can levin be reached? I would like to ask him to put together a list of all those folks like Sarah, Rush etc who were specifically accused, and bring a class action lawsuit against the media for slander/libel- whatever the correct term is.

You and me both. I'd like to at least hear (but watching in person would be great) ... Mark taking apart any of the liberal ah "thinkers" and pundits that routinely smear us. Can you picture Mark vs, well, any of them on a level playing field? It'd be a bloodbath (that's figuratively, not literally for you PC libtard lurkers who need everything crayon'd out for you). I'd take time off work and drive half way across the Country to see it.
This sounds like an Onion headline: Levin complains that the MSM didn’t include him in the list of Talk Radio honchos to blame for the Tuscon tragedy.
