This Post has the most recent UPDATE of the devastating Floods in Brisbane, Australia's third largest city. There are links to the latest news media releases from the major sources. There is also a link to one of the most harrowing videos to emerge from the flood, video footage taken with a mobile phone of what happened in the Lockyer Valley when the huge wall of water roared through the area. The video is graphic by nature and shows the rawest of emotions from people who think they are about to die.
About a half-dozen colleagues were flooded out of their homes, and our Brisbane office had been closed due to the emergency.
Prayers out to all in the affected area...
The video was depressing. Mainly because these folks were cataloging each worldly possession swept away by the flood. “My lamp! My lamp is gone! My piano stool! Oh, my piano is gone!”

I’m really not hearing too much about the devastation in Australia.It seems to be very scattered and limited.
Anything I can do for your fellow countrymen down under?
I just got back from watching some of the video.Gosh,I want to cry for everyone affected,the rescuers et al....
