This appealed to what one might call the Manichaean wing of American liberalism: those who mistake political disagreement for enmity, who are so strongly prejudiced against conservatives as to regard them, in some sense, as less than fully human.

Ed presupposes an honest motivation on the part of these type of liberals.

They are the mainstream media and democrat party who are one and the same.

The media say that they are objective reporters reporting facts and truth, what is going on in the world. That is the FIRST BIG LIE. What these reporters are is liberals/marxists/democrats. And every one of these reporters is constantly looking for some event that they can use or twist to slander Republicans , conservatists, capitalism or some event that they can twist to frighten the public into accepting more restrictions on their freedom and more government power to solve some problem that doesn't exist like global warming, BP oil “disaster”, swine flu pandemic, e coli in food,”pollution” ( if pollution were such a problem why did the media and government funded scientists work 20 years to create the global warming hoax that was intended to cripple industry (capitalism)? etc.
