This whole birth certificate thing is really weird. While we have absolutely no idea of what is contained in any of the records that exist on this guy for the simple reason that he has, by Presidential Executive Order, effectively declared them state secrets and spent millions of legal dollars to prevent any disclosure of any of his personal information.
It’s almost as weird as people getting hold of President Bush’s dental records and time cards from 1972, just in the opposite sense.
What we do know is what does NOT exist. There is no record in any of the local hospitals that would correspond to or validate any state birth records on file. Hospitals keep excellent records for this
That executive order concerns official presidential papers in the National Archives. It's said to be similar to the executive orders other presients have issued.
Since whatever personal documents Obama has aren't likely to be in the National Archives, the executive order is irrelevant. To say otherwise would be like saying that the policies your company has concerning company records governs who can see your birth certificate or driving records.

Hospitals don't release their records to third parties without permission. It very well may be that Obama birth records don't exist at those hospitals, but to say that we know that for certain would be questionable -- if not flat-out wrong.
