Shoot your television.

Twice.

Stop buying Hollyweird’s stupid movies.

maybe i just haven’t seen it, but has any outlet even done one story about the other victims? The wounded and dead who did not score political points other than the congresswoman and young girl? I haven’t heard a peep.

I’m really surprised that we haven’t heard of any of these “celebrities” joining Barry and the ‘RATS in “Tuscon” tonight to help kickoff the CommieRATS’ “Comeback Kids 2012” campaign. I thought that at least Lady GooGoo would be there to perform. She’s a big hit with those who live in “Tuscon”.

Oh yeah? Let these maggots prove that conservatives were responsible for this horrific act.

Did we drive Sirhan Sirhan to do what he did?

Did we drive John Hinckley to shoot Mr. Reagan?

These naysayers are children who live in some dream world, just like the nut who shot everyone in Tucson last weekend.

That ain't all. "The Party Line" has been laid out to all the liberal churches, just like the marquee of the one around the corner from where I sit in an otherwise conservative city:

"Just say no to violence.

Just say no to vitriol."

I'm sure Sunday's sermon will be on "responsible speech" or whatever.

I agree 100%! It’s about time we took a stand and stop Hollywierd from corrupting the minds of our youth.

Has there been anything, ANYTHING, from or about the video game industry, the heavy metal groups, rap artists, etc??

Perhaps, if anyone can understand the garbage and can stomach listening to it, they should post some lyrics from some of the music our young people are listening to. It’s far from harmless. But THOSE fall under the protection of free speech.

I agree. Stop buying these weirdos movies and music. The need us to keep them rich and to feed their ego. Forgot them. Rent old movies. Anything not to support their antics. They are “supposed” to entertain (and I use that word loosely) us not preach to us.

'Entertainment' Media is somehow guiltless what with their level of violence in movies and on TV, not to mention horrific video games peddled to our children.

Here’s what I see.....remember how nice it was to see constituents shouting at their reps at the townhalls about health care? Forcefully standing their ground and making known their disgust? I remember being happy that the reps were finally really hearing it from the people.

THAT, imo, is what they’re about to go after. Wait and see how they use this as a way to try to prevent people from forcefully speaking their minds to their congressmen. Want to go to a townhall and yell about bad representation? Too bad, you’ll be escorted out as a security risk. You’ll be told that “of course they recognize you’re free speech rights, but it doesn’t mean you’re allowed to yell about it.” Arizona will be the reasoning for the clamping down on constituents who dare voice anger to their congressman.

That’s what they’re after here. They’ve been looking for a way to put a stop to angry voices since the health care debate. They feel like they finally found their excuse.

Heck of a way to kickoff Obama 2012 but DemocRATS never have a problem stooping to a new low.

And, they are doing this even after and in spite of the fact that it has come out that this young man was not on either political side. The mounting evidence that this was something other than political, that he was obsessed with Giffords since before Sarah’s rise in politics and before the Tea Party, has not stopped their exploitation of this tragedy.

Vile, vile, vile leftists in politics, in media and in “entertainment”.

Sirhan? But he was put up to it by the right wing. Unreal.

I don’t know who said it but on Hannity’s show the other day he played a quote from someone saying how sad he was at the death of Ted Kennedy. The same sadness he felt when Kennedy’s brothers were killed by “the right wing.” These people are downright scary. How sad it must be to be filled with hate and delusions they way they are.

I hope I am not insulting anyone on this site. However, IMO if you watch these ridiculous entertainment shows and take them seriously, or give a rat’s behind about what any “celebrity” does, you can’t be too bright to begin with. No wonder fans of these shows who respond to their idiot polls say they blame the right and the Tea Party for political violence.

Those who want to believe that conservative rhetoric is responsible for the murders will never be convinced otherwise.

With an absence of any evidence--direct or indirect--linking the killer with the Right, the mantra becomes "how could he NOT have been influenced by Palin, Beck, et al."

In a sense, they are like 9/11 truthers. They want to believe their deluded notions so they do. Because gosh darn it, how could things be otherwise?

That is precisely the problem: there are all too many idiots in this country who watch TV and believe everything they see, and these idiots vote, too. Calling them stupid doesn't change the effect that the massive propaganda machine known as Hollywood has on the voting pool. That is why it is of concern to us.

I don’t watch them, I can’t stand them. Entertainers are a zero in my book. But, there are many who do and sadly, those who do will take seriously what they say.

I will say I was surprised by what Jon Stewart said though I only saw a short clip.
