With all the idiocy going on in the US, it’s stunning how this tragedy in Oz is getting short shrift.

Just heard on the local radio station newsbreak a report where the local reporter said there were crocs and sharks (or as she said, “shahks”) arriving with the floodwaters. Nice to arrive back at your wrecked home and find those “guests.”
Since the Aussies were part of Operation Iraqi Freedom, with the 'eevil' George Bush, the lefties probably think they're getting their just desserts.
Exactly - and as they probably won’t have flies clustered around their eyes, the US govt will say they’re on their own - no CARE packages for the Ozzies...
They are only our fourth greatest ally...
