Decisions like this are the only thing that I can see that will rescue our society from the radical greenies.
The wonder is that it got this far. The local judge should have not only thrown it out, but also forcibly ripped the law licenses from the walls of the attorneys filing suit.
I hope that those who brought this lawsuit have to pay restitution 10 times over for this frivolousness.
Somehow, “the courts” stumbled into a sane conclusion to the matter.
Could it simply be that the court did not necessarily reject the principle of AGW, but reject a sufficient nexus between the actions of the defendants and the harm that befell the complainants?
I had no idea that phony lawsuits were being leveled against energy companies. The loony part of this whole story is that this case actually made it to the U.S. Supreme Court! I’m glad someone is using their heads in this discussion.
