Missing from the interviews with Sheriff Dubiousnik: Why was Loughner never charged after his first or second drug arrests?

Loughner’s mother works for the Pima County Board of Supervisors. What political relationship do you, Sheriff of Pima County have with the suspect’s mother?

Was there any pressure not to prosecute?

Pima County Sheriff Dupnik has yet to take responsibility for his part in the killings. Dupnik needs to be reminded that he was elected to be a lawman. Dupnik is just one more example of a person who is supposed to be impartial, but is seduced by partisan/ideological biases.

(1) Why was Loughner never charged after his first or second drug arrests?

(2) News reports say at least five calls about Loughner were made to Pima County L/E BEFORE the shootings;

(3) Was there any pressure not to prosecute?

(4) What personal/political relationship does Pima County Sheriff Dupnik have with the suspect’s mother? Loughner’s mother works for the Pima County Board of Supervisors.
