I dont think that the teaching is too good. Some of the teachers choose favorites and they are not too fair. I think the parents need to be involved more. music, art and sports are really good they are available to everyone who wants to do it. Submitted by a student
I doubt Jared posted this, but maybe. More disturbing
Posted February 26, 2007 Not happy with this school at all, the principal is unreachable, teachers just sit back and allow students to fail. I realize that it is 90% the student responsibility to 'do' the work and to find out what the work assignments are. But a teacher that allows a child to sit in a class and do nothing? and then fail him? My understanding about being a good teacher is to motivate students, be leaders and to not leave a student behind. Work with parents on what needs to be improved upon. there seems to be no prevention programs, just 'get in trouble first' motto then let the courts decide? let's give mountain view a big 'YAY' to high test scores... but a big 'BOO!' to teacher involement with helping troubled teens. And a promoter Posted January 3, 2009 about counselors... My son attended MVHS for 4 years. He graduated in May 2008. Overall the school is satisfactory, however I did find that there were some communication problems between parents and teachers that need to be addressed. The school doesn't seem to have enough counselors and I would have liked to have seen a more organized front office. Overall, I was satisfied with the teachers & my son enjoyed the school. I did have some real concerns when I enrolled him in the school since he had been attending a private school for a number of years. He seemed to have transitioned well. Submitted by a parent
Seems like a good school with some serious cracks. Check it out yourself.

Someone else needs to start a thread on the diversion program he was in once if not twice for graffiti and drug charges. Southwestern Intervention Services (S.I.S.)
It’s not every high school dropout that develops an appreciation for the Communist Manifesto and Mein Kampf. Were these books on the high school reading list?
I loved living in Az, but the schools are terrible.
So was the sheriif who is opening his big trap when he knows the congresswomen was being harrased for quite some time. The product of thier utopian society, rotten fruit from a rotten tree
There was something about this Mountain View school on a thread here a day or so ago. This school was started from a program invented by Bill Ayres and funded by Hussain Obama(he got the funding through his Chicago stint), it is a very liberal twisted kind of school.
Any one that gets in trouble, disrupts a class, has a tattoo, a piercing, reads Mien Kamph, Communist Manifesto or any other radical book, looks at porn, smokes dope, drinks, dislikes big government, post disparaging remarks about our politicians, police or tax collectors, or is just a little odd, well these people should not be allowed to fall between the cracks. They should wear monitors, and be watched at all times. Now we have a safe society.
The crack of reality that separates the logical from the illogical.
You know, the same one that separates conservatives and liberals. I have always thought that if it were not for being such cowards, most liberals would be one breakdown away from being a mass murder.
Look at the way they all support abortion with bulging veins on their temples. Last time i looked at the number, 50 million babies murdered in 40 years in America and almost 300 million aborted world wide since then, actually makes it the largest mass murder of a targeted group in the history of the world.
What cracks did Loughner fall through?....
The crack of reality.
I spoke today with a friend who does counseling under contract with our local police with troubled youth. He’s often called in the middle of the night to work through things and get a preliminary psychological assessment of the individual in question.
If he is aware of credible violent threats against individuals, my friend IS REQUIRED by law to file notification with the state, These filings, at least in most states if not all, will prevent anyone from passing the FBI check for weapons purpose. FAILURE to file will result in LEGAL ACTION if anyone down the road gets attacked.
Sheriff Dupe-Nik could be in deep doo-doo, since he says HE KNEW of multiple threats, yet apparently did not file ANY notifications (which would have prevented Loughner from purchasing that weapon).
Sometimes people have a REASON for kicking up a lot of dust.
Loughner failed.
