The fact that Senators receive automatic passports commensurate with their office is something I learned from reading eligibility threads. I don’t know how much the FBI investigation, if there was one, turned up. All Obama’s passport records are sealed, as are his mother’s older records.
And then there’s Lt. Quarles Harris Jr. He was a key witness in a case of unauthorized access to Obama’s passport files. He was found shot in the head, in his car, outside his church in DC. The murder has never been solved.
