Rockhampton Flood Crisis – Attack Of The Blood Suckers
PA Pundits International ^ | 07 January 2011 | TonyfromOz

Some International media reports about these catastrophic floods in Rockhampton mentioned that crocodiles might be washed into peoples homes. Some Australian media reports have mentioned that there is an influx of deadly venomous snakes coming down with the flood waters and these might be washed into homes. The major biting threat to a lot of Rockhampton residents is a tiny little thing called a sandfly, no bigger than a tiny flea. You don't even realise one of these tiny little blood suckers has bitten you until a couple of hours later when you start to itch like crazy, and the itch can last for days or weeks, and the scratching causes sores, and it's all just yuck!
