Having worked for attorneys this seems clear to me. It is a business proposition. When you represent an abusive parent you advocate for family reunification. When you represent a child you advocate for severance. It is a job.

He is, one dollar at the time. Some are getting really greedy these days and overexposing themselves. Maybe they feel that they have a limited shelf life

Who knows? Redemption happens. And besides; am guessing many who would NEVER otherwise 'go there' - now might; just on this resume. Could be a redemptive experience for at least some of those newbies.
