Thank you for your service! Frustration of not being heard and waiting for better things to come seem to be falling on those deaf ears. One would never know when, enough is enough. I wonder back in the days of our Revolution, when did our four-fathers have enough? What tyrannical things did King George and his band of cheats do to the colonist before the first shot was fired? How much control over the population did the crown have over the colonies before they had enough?
We don’t want a military take-over now and things are said in frustration however, a day may come when it won’t be possible.

funny you should ask, given your username... ;)

I'd say ANYTHING that violates the first 10 amendments would be fine triggers for CIVILIANS to go “clean out the swamp” in Washington, DC.

My particular trigger point, one I've been struggling to avoid allowing to happen since I was a teenager, is abrogation of the Second Amendment. I left California as a teen because it was already apparent that they were headed that way, and that I could NOT prevent it. My last visit there was to spend time with my dying mother, in 2004, and when I left, I shook the dust of that place from my feet. I'm in Oklahoma, now. Things are much better here, and maybe I can prevent it from going bad like it did in Cali.

BTW, I do understand your frustration. It has felt, in many respects, like fighting the whirlpool to stay afloat this last 40 years or so. The only thing that gives me hope is the young men and women who go into our military to DO something, and defend our country. For their sake, we must do the same.
