What the hell do these people get for their votes? Why are they doing everything they can to destroy this once great nation? It’s both parties.
It’s all rigged, FRiend. America hasn’t been truly free since the 1920s, maybe even earlier. The 1930s ushered in an era of “feel good” politics, and we’ve been riding that wave ever since.
If politicians got on the stump and said what needed to be said, they’d never be elected. Americans want to be jaded and told “feel good” things. They don’t want to hear that SS, Medicare, Medicaid, and the Fedguv in general are broke and have to pare back to 19th century levels.
Unfortunately people like you and me are a rarity anymore. I’ll take the hurt if it means my kids and grandkids have a better chance at freedom. It’s going to take a real revolution to change; by the barrel of a gun. I just hope we’re the ones behind the sights.
