Yup ~ met Obama's mumsey at a party where everybody there but me and a postal inspector were incredibly right wing Dutch colones whose families (or themselves) had been kicked out by the Sukarno Regime. Bunch of them worked for CIA, its military counterpart (now DIA, but then I think it had a differentname), Defense Intelligence School, etc.

I didn't get the idea Stanley Ann was a Lefty. Years later a friend of mine who'd been in Air Force Intelligence mentioned this really rugged looking gal he knew "overseas" who was named Stanley Ann ~ this was in the context of a discussion of the white lady anthropoligist studying Orangutangs ~ she'd married a Malay local.

In some things this is a very small world ~ girls named Stanley Ann are rare!

Yeah, in some things this is a very small world --- afterall, one time .... years ago one morning when you opened your apartment door YOU saw Hillary Clinton in the apartment hallway, right?

Just HOW many other freepers could ever possibly have encountered BOTH Hillary C. and Stanley Ann?

It's a remarkable coincidence - small world, indeed!
