Krauthammer’s a bit arrogant and slides over to the liberal side on some social issues, such as homosexual perverts getting married and serving openly in the military, and abortion. In his own words, he says, (regarding perverts in the service), “if it was going to happen anyway, and it was, why not now? Our culture has changed, and that’s just the way it is”. He also thinks 20 million Mexican criminal invaders should be given amnesty and citizenship, and he occassionally goes along with some of Obama’s spending sprees. I used to love the guy, but he’s lost it. He’s been “inside the beltway” so long now he can no longer see or believe that anything exists outside of politics. I certainly don’t know this, but I get the feeling the “Hammer” is a proud atheist, which explains why he floats this way and that way along with the tide of political and cultural changes.
Considering that Krauthammer wrote speeches for Mondale when he was running against Ronald Reagan it’s never a surprise to find Krauthammer getting in touch with his inner liberal.
Agreed. I too used to love to watch him run rings around the likes of Juan etc. But for the past 2 months he has outed himself as progressive - something others smarter than i had pointed out but i was unwilling to accept. The beauty - if it can really be deemed beautiful - of this administration is that it is smoking out all the rats opposed to freedom and decency. It is crystallizing our values and contrasting them starkly to the communist/socialist/progressive/democrat lack of values. Thanks Charles for finally coming out of your hole and defining yourself as nothing more than an Obama mouthpiece.
I run hot and cold with Charlie. So times I agree and sometimes not he is a hard person to get a read on. But on this subject imo Charlie really should look at this issue a little closer. Roe vs. Wade is a “death panel” for the faceless victim. The Terri Schiavo case broadened the agenda to the victime with a face but who was unable to communicate for her defense. As the agenda tries to further its cause the public becomes immuned to its results. Next may be those in wheelchairs when they become sick and a considered nuisance to some or the old when they become a burden to their families. Abortion is a much broader issue and with Charlie’s intelligence he should know better. Mr. Moriarty is correct we all are Trig.
