I think I got lost somewhere in your purchasing description. It's probably just me, but let's step through what I think you described you did:

Buy OMEGA FACTOR 3 premium blend 1300 mg fish oil pills (tuna & krill). They sell for 10 bucks but when you buy it, you get $10 back in register rewards.

You spent $10 in cash, and now have the pills, and a $10 register reward to use on something else.

In my case, I used the $10 register rewards to buy 2 DiGiorno Supreme pizzas which were on sale for...$10. Therefore FREE!

You used the $10 register rewards, and now have the pills, and 2 (on sale) pizzas, and your out of pocket expenses at this point are $10 in cash for $20 worth of merchandise.

Plus I used the WAG sales sheet coupon to get 4 Progresso Soups for $5. Then used a couple of $2 register rewards I had on my person to buy all those soups for just a buck.

You used a "WAG sales sheet coupon" to reduce the cost of 4 cans of Progresso Soup to $5 (not sure what the original cost of 4 cans was here), then used two $2 register rewards to pay $4 of the $5 reduced price.

You spent another $1 in cash, and now have the pills, 2 pizzas, and 4 cans of Progresso Soup.

So let's look at my shopping trip. I didn't get that flu medicine like I thought but I quickly switched gears and used a $10 RR I already had to score a FREE bottle of Omega Factor 3 premium blend fish oil pills (which I take everyday) then rolled the $10 that generated to score 2 free DiGiorno pizzas. Plus got myself 4 cans of Progresso soup using $4 in Register Rewards that I had from last week. Total out of pocket for all that...a buck.

It appears to me that your total out of pocket expense is $11 cash for some (unknown) value of the merchandise you received. Where am I going wrong?

Where am I going wrong?

In the assumption that I paid the initial $10 in cash. Instead I used a $10 register rewards from last week when I used my Sinex coupons to buy 4 boxes of Sinex. They were on sale for $5 each and my coupons reduced that down to $1 each but that was reduced further by another $2 in Register Rewards from when I bought a tube of Colgate earlier. Bottom line is that TODAY I only spent a buck out of pocket on Fish oil and chow since the initial $10 was register rewards, NOT cash out of pocket.
