I am not from the left coast but tried it when in AZ on business at the urging of my hosts. The Double-Double combo was awesome. Did not taste like fast food.

You can't even get close to our local In-N-Outs unless you go at a really off-hour. They're not fast food, BTW. All fresh product, meat included, and they cut the spuds in-store constantly for their fries; they only use Kennebec potatoes.

They're all company owned, and I've heard that a store manager's salary can exceed 100K.
