I’m about 700 pages into Alas Shrugged right now. What I can’t understand is why I wasn’t REQUIRED to read it in high school or college.

Why aren’t colleges teaching courses on Atlas Shrugged? I’m amazed by how prophetic the book is (or is it was?).

People make the mistake of thinking it is about business.

It isn't. It is about personalities.

She grew up in the Soviet Union and learned about the personalities of those who ran the place.

She applied what she knew about how those personalities would work here when they gained power.
