There is a consensus about marriage, and that strong consensus is that marriage is a man and a woman.

31 states have passed constitutional amendments defining marriage. In most states, they had to be approved by voters. In some states, well over 70% voted to define marriage in this manner.

If there is such a groundswell for homosexual marriage, why do they have to force it through the courts? If this groundswell were real, state after state would be voting through the democratic process to allow homosexual marriage, rather than state after state voting to retain traditional marriage.

My consensus is that gay marriage is not a marriage at all. Homosexual marriage is phoney. I do not and can not support it. There, you have my consensus.

No, Joe's thoughts are not evolving ~ they're evaporating before he can complete them. Homosexual marriage, unlike death, is not certain.
