Want to see something scary? Here is Obama's Director of National Intelligence, Mr. James Clapper, looking like a deer caught in the headlights when Diane Sawyer asks him about the terror arrests in London:

Ok, so follow along....the Obama administration appears to have not been briefed that their Directior of National Intelligence hadn't been briefed so their first statement was that he HAD been briefed, but Sawyer screwed up with an ambiguous question. Then today they admitted that yeah, he hadn't been briefed.
...the Obama administration acknowledged Wednesday morning that retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Clapper had not been briefed about the arrests at the time of the interview.“Director Clapper had not yet been briefed on the arrests in the United Kingdom at the time of this interview taping,” said ODNI spokeswoman Jamie Smith in a statement.

He wasn’t immediately briefed on London because it didn’t appear to have a homeland nexus and there was no immediate action by the DNI required.
The Director of National Intelligence leads all 16 agencies inside the Intelligence Community. They are the clearinghouse for all intelligence that gets disseminated to all the intelligence agencies and he didn’t know about the arrests?
Talk about incompetence. Maybe they were too busy running the new WTF, or Wikileaks Task Force, inside the CIA.
This is the administration that is supposed to keep us safe.
Very very scary.

WH: Clapper not briefed; Brennan vows to keep him ‘au courant’...
Adviser John Brennan said that Director of National Intelligence James Clapper should have been kept abreast of the situation and that “steps” are being taken to ensure he’s not kept in the dark on such significant developments in the future. But Brennan defended Clapper, calling him the “consummate DNI.”
Brennan explained that on the day of the interview in which Clapper stumbled, he was too busy handling tension on the Korean peninsula and congressional negotiations over a nuclear treaty with Russia to pick up on widespread reporting about the arrest of 12 men allegedly involved in an Al Qaeda-inspired plot to attack targets in Britain.
Proof positive that Clapper is NOT a FReeper. He’d have known....
