I know we are in the end times and all of these things will come to pass. However, I think I am still stuck in the “depression” stage and can’t get myself to acceptance. I don’t understand why I was born in this place and time if there is nothing we can do to stop this.
I’ve FELT in a similar place from time to time.
However, I think there’s Biblical grounds for understanding that many of the great saints of the past would have loved to have been born in this ULTIMATE GRADUATION ERA when all things are brought to a GRAND FINALE.
I don’t think it’s a sentence for bad behavior. I believe WE HAVE BEEN BORN FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS TO DO GREAT EXPLOITS FOR THE KING . . . and to receive rewards accordingly.
TO THE OVERCOMER THE CROWN ETC.
And we can only do so IN HIS STRENGTH, POWER, SPIRIT, BLOOD, WORD.
Which is a great message HE REALLY wants all Creation to “GET.”
I just know HE DOES ALL THINGS WELL.
I know He has to fix me and conform me to His image as I can’t do that myself.
I just know that He seeks good things for me and has good things in store for me as I choose Him and His ways.
I just know that neither death nor life nor things seen nor unseen nor principalities nor powers nor anything can separate me from HIS LOVE, His steadfast care etc.
I just know that the sufferings of this life are unworthy to be compared to the glories of the next.
I just know that our attitude is to be like the 200 lb canary toward the kitty . . .
HERE KITTY, KITTY, KITTY!
I know that when the enemy comes in like a flood, God WILL RAISE UP A STANDARD AGAINST HIM.
I know that God has many more surprises in store for the enemy than the enemy has in store for Believers.
I know that God really CAN AND REALLY DOES work all thing together for good to those who Love Him and are called according to His purposes etc.
Given that we ARE on the winning side . . . and that OUR DADDY IS GOD ALMIGHTY . . . we NEED NOT fear, nor feel down.
Getting there is not always as easy as falling off a log for some of us with less than ideal backgrounds.
However, we can immerse ourselves in His Word and worship music and focus on HIM.
He will keep all of us in HIS perfect PEACE when we stay focused on HIM.

Spot on Quix! We all need to remind ourselves that trusting Jesus complete sacrifice for our salvation was sufficient. Not what we do. No traditional Church, no rituals, no associations other then a personal relationship directly with Jesus is needed. On our knees in our private prayer closet is our best weapon now.
I know that we will win in the end when our Savior returns. However, I am having a problem wondering what I am here for specifically in these last days. What do I do while I occupy? I have fought all of the battles to help save this country, but it seems that has been in vain. Have I wasted my time?
