Just went outside and the moon is at 12 o’clock and kicka$$ bright tonight, must be really good atmospherics here.

I think the moon is extra bright because the sun is nearly opposite the moon just before the eclipse.

Makes sense. Think I see a slight hint it may be starting here. Doesn't seem to be a perfectly circular disk like it was 15 minutes ago or my eyes are going out on me ;^)
