My grandma wrapped my sandwich with waxed paper.

I go so far back that we wrapped 4 sandwiches by cutting up the double layer waxed paper that bread came in. Waxed paper from a roll was a luxury. Kids back then ate more wholesome food and walked most places. No one I knew was obese. It's harder now with all the processed food and cars.

Ya know, I only know of one over weight child in our Catholic class room of 60 students - half fifth grade and half sixth grade. The Nun kept control of us all. She had a talk to us about being kind to ‘Tommy’who was fat. Tommy had many friends the next day. There was no bullying. If the Nun saw it, she nipped it in the bud.
