On Sundays broadcast of NPRs All Things Considered, 2008 Republican presidential candidate Rep. Ron Paul, a libertarian favorite, addressed his 2012 prospects. He told NPRs Guy Raz that a presidential run is still a possibility.
Well, its possible and I havent ruled it out, so Ill probably be deciding at the beginning of the year, Paul said. And people ask me if I think about it a lot and I do because a lot of people ask me about it.
Dating back to 2007, the Texas congressman has garnered a lot of support from a devoted following. Paul explained it is his ideas that have earned him his reputation.
Sometimes I am very surprised about it because I have been doing the same thing for a good many years and I have frequently said I have never expected to get hardly any attention, he said. “The Kooks are being proven absolutely correct every day.”
This is a false statement. A kook is just that, a kook. Or part of his ideas as in the case of Ron Paul. Although he is very good in most areas, he is absolutely dangerous and insane in others like national defense, social beliefs and anarchist leanings regarding morals. No, the man is dangerous and a kook for those reasons alone. Screw that idiot.
I think he likes attention as much as Schumer.

I like Ron Paul on some issues. Not so much on other issues.
