Every time I hear someone say he’s a great speaker, I think
“Yeah, to fourth graders!”
I think he’s a horrible public speaker. It hurts my ears to have to listen to him. I usually only listen as long as it takes me to change the channel.
OOPS! Forgot to add he looks like a real dork, no matter what he is doing. Hurts my eyes too!
This picture has been floating around for some time and purports to show Obama being disrespectful - I got it in an email claiming it shows Obama not putting his hand over his heart during the National Anthem. I dislike Obama immensely and think he is the worst President in history, but it doesn't help our cause when we make stuff up (like whoever sent me the email made up what this picture was about). The truth is, that picture was taken at Arlington in 2009 during a Memorial Day ceremony and shows Obama standing with his hands clasped in front of him - and for good reason. They had just played Hail to the Chief and he had just been introduced and stepped on to the stage. Sometimes a picture is not worth 1000 words.
This article is an absolutely splendid summary which explains, in great detail:
a)Why all of us (if I can be so presumptuous as to speak for the Palin ping list)love and support Sarah Palin; and
b)More importantly, why she WILL defeat Obama in November of 2012.
The contrast between these two—Obama and Palin—is not only stark on policy grounds but on character, life experience, world view, courage and orientation toward America.
Character, courage, humility....These are more or less intangibles that cannot be quantified in the way that positions on given issues can be scored. But many, many people vote on this basis and not based on an ideological formula.
Palin and Obama differ on virtually every issue. But this article shows just how different they are on matters which do not pertain to politics. I don’t think we have ever seen two candidates for the American Presidency who were less alike than Palin and Obama.
This article should be read and bookmarked by every person who is serious about defeating Obama and electing Sarah Palin the 45th President of the United States.
I got this same email and checked it out on snopes before forwarding it on (I have learned my lesson the hard way). When I found out the truth, I hit the reply ‘all’ button on my email, and informed everyone that what was in the email was NOT the case. Like you, I can’t stand the man, but we need to make sure of things before we forward them on as gospel.
He hasn’t got a clue.
EXCELLENT!
No. Right here he’s being the asshat we all know he is.
He doesn’t like us. Sarah likes us.
Couple this article with your "Electoral College" column from yesterday, and it's easy to see that Sarah Palin is not the joke of a candidate the media and the GOP-E wants the idiot public to believe.
Well, Obama does if you like Wookies
Palin Patriotic BUMP!
Surprised and delighted to read the linked article by David Mamet and his awakening from liberalism.

***I’d observed that lust, greed, envy, sloth, and their pals are giving the world a good run for its money, but that nonetheless, people in general seem to get from day to day; and that we in the United States get from day to day under rather wonderful and privileged circumstancesthat we are not and never have been the villains that some of the world and some of our citizens make us out to be, but that we are a confection of normal (greedy, lustful, duplicitous, corrupt, inspiredin short, human) individuals living under a spectacularly effective compact called the Constitution, and lucky to get it.***
That Palin is “spotless” should be obvious to all.
Were there the slightest blemish upon which to base an attack, the media would by now have built it into a capital crime.
FAIL !!
.
Thanks for the ping!
Palin’s election is inevitable, and that is the proximate cause of the rage.
(and why is this the only slow thread on FR?)
PERFECT!
should be read and bookmarked I’m going back to reread the article
