Starting today, the military is no place for a decent person.

Easy there, hoss. The troops are some of the finest people in the world and nothing that took place in Congress today should reflect on those who are serving. Focus your anger on the people who betrayed them, not on the troops. This is just another piece of crap they have to put up with and believe me, they have enough already.

Straight men in the military cannot have a relationship with a woman in the same unit. If they do, they NJP'd or administrative discharge. If a guy in the military has an affair with the wife of another guy, he can spend time for adultery.

The repeal of DADT does not affect the UCMJ. In fact, a a recruit can be outted in boot camp when a SSgt asks whether they are queer or not. With DADT, the SSgt cannot ask them. Now, when they answer, they cannot lie. That is a UCMJ offense.

Meanwhile infantry units know how to deal with queers in their ranks. Marines can take care of insurgents, IEDs and officers. They can sure as hell deal with a few perverts.

I should have phrased things better. I certainly hope the good patriotic folks currently in the military finish out their hitches safe and sound, and get out. But, today the American armed services ceased to exist as far as I’m concerned, and I will no longer have any respect for anyone who enlists or re-ups in this newly formed Homosexual Military. This is a massive game-changer.
