We actually need more people like her in government. We need people with commonsense, not elitists who spend our money with disregard.
And we also need to be skeptical of any and all politicians, including Sarah Palin. Remember when George Bush II was going to be the conservative savior?
Don't build up cults of personality around these people. When they do something good say "eh, you could've done better".
Politicians are narcissists. They crave to be liked. As soon as they are sure one group will like them no matter what, they start scheming to bring other groups in to like them. Same today as it was in Athens.
