Oceans Twelve....the worst movie of the last ten years. Of course there were movies that were more poorly made or received, but for a movie with a large budget and star actors.....an easy pick.
>>Ralph Fiennes The Avengers...<<
One should never walk out on Voldemort.
I liked Hudson Hawk so much, that I bought the DVD. I put it on for family members, they were not impressed. It was a fun movie, and that is what films are all about, isn’t it?
Sort of like the "fan-edit" of Star Trek V titled "In Thy Image" (name swiped from the original script of the 1st Trek movie, as originally written for the aborted Star Trek: Phase 2 series.
They dumped the worst part (half) of the original, carved the remaining pieces into four acts plus a brief epilogue (like the original series episodes) and added 1960s graphics and soundtrack. Result: a decent hour of sci-fi, rescued from the dreck that was dragging it down.
Worst movie ever!!
I strongly disagree. While Plan 9 is cheap, poorly directed, badly acted and horribly written, it's still manages to be entertaining--Criswell's introduction ("We are all interested in the future for that is where you and I will spend the rest of our lives!"), the paper plate flying saucers, Lugosi's offscreen death, Tor Johnson struggling to get his bulk out of the grave, Vampira's 9-inch waist. I'll watch Plan 9 when it comes on TV and won't begrudge the 79 minutes. Bad movies, to my thinking, are ones that are too boring to keep my attention.
Because of the large cast of libtards in those movies, I have chosen never to watch them. I just watch my fellow rednecks shoot things on The Outdoor Channel.
Couldn't even get a damn bear to eat Kate Gosselin on Palin's show last night...bears...not good for much, are they? :-)
OMG! I loved the Deer Hunter but that wedding scene was out of control.
omg! the worst viet nam movie ever. it really sucked.
A revival house in L.A. recently featured “Garbage Pail Kids” as part of their “Holy Sh**, I Can’t Believe It’s a Children’s Film” festival
Guliver’s Travels with jack black already shows the endings during the trailer. I think they are going to torture audiences with a two parter of big and little people.
Believe it or not, I actually know the writer of Hudson Hawke. Let's just say that the movie that they made is only slightly related to the script he wrote. A lot of the problems can be directly traced to Bruce Willis's ego and everyone rolling over to give him whatever he wanted.
there are some things that even bears won't touch.
Maybe they should have stuffed her into a pic - a - nic basket? Eh Boo-Boo?
Same here. I took the film for what it was - kooky.
I loved “Starship Troopers.” So bad, it’s good (Neil Patrick Harris was a scream.)
No matter how good the movie was, it was never going to make anybody who remembers the cartoons forget about them. But the worst ever? Seriously?
IMHO, what's not to like? Buncha hot naked chicks slinking around, while macho guys blow up stuff with hand held nukes. Doesn't get much better than that.
I've read that it was fairly far along in preproduction as "a typical, forgettable B-grade scifi movie" called Bug Hunt at Outpost Nine, when Heinlein's estate suddenly agreed to sell the rights to Star Ship Troopers. I was at World Con (the World Science Fiction Convention, only one I've been to) in '97, and Verhoeven showed a few clips from the then unreleased film. Verhoeven launched into a spiel about how he had tried to depict the fascism that he thought was a primary theme of the book. The boos and catcalls, from an audience that ten minutes before had been very excited to hear about the movie, were deafening.
At least Zapped had a lot of naked females in it.
That in itself is pretty cool ... watching a movie in a theater and MST3K breaks out.
