McDermott, Inslee working to prevent House vote on tax rate compromise

In short, the two Washington liberals want taxes raised on everyone because they object to upper income earners - the very earners who invest and start business that hire Washington workers - keeping some of their own money.

Fox News reports the two members are working on a letter with Peter DeFazio (D-OR) to present to the House Democratic Caucus.

The letter reportedly asks Pelosi to not bring the measure up for a vote.

The plan is to get 60 signatures on the letter, reportedly still being drafted, and then force a vote in the caucus. DeFazio says the bill should not be brought to the floor if a majority of House Democrats agree to the letter.

If Democrats refuse to bring this compromise to the floor of the House, taxes will increase for everyone and unemployment benefits will not be extended for those who need them. In short, House Democrats face the real prospect of becoming the "Caucus of No", ruining Christmas for all Americans.

In announcing the compromise, President Obama said:

"I am not willing to let working families across this country become collateral damage for political warfare here in Washington," he said. "The American people didn't send us here to wage symbolic battles or win symbolic victories."

As much as I want us to get the taxes extended, I am almost hoping the liberals win on this to help sink them and their commie president even farther.

Besides, I really do not want them to extend the unemoyement laziness extension bill.

Confused, very confused as to how I should look at all this.

When I think of Patton I cannot help but think of George C Scott saying those words. I remember when the movie Patton came to our small towns movie theater.

My husband took me and we were so proud of America watching the movie.

It was a much needed boost for our pride because of all the anti war protesters and all that was going on. Hard to believe those bastards are now running, or should i say ruining the country.

I am a firm believer that them and a vast majority of Democrats today sitting in office have taken a sworn oath to overthrow our constitution and install a Communist dictatorship under their rule. That is because they are all, every single one of them, died in the wool Communists.

So again I say that these are the very individuals that Patton wanted to wipe out after he took Berlin. Hell, Patton knew that this day would come in America if he was not allowed to roll to Moscow after Berlin fell.

We missed many chances to stop this day from ever happening, now we cannot allow the next chance to go by without the action we know we all must take. I just wish I was 20 to 40 years younger and a man, but my sons and son-in-law can and will do it if they have to. Even if they are already in their 40's and 50's.
