Uh oh...Doppler effect.

When the light source is moving toward the listener (v is negative), then fL is greater than fS. In the visible light spectrum, this causes a shift toward the high-frequency end of the light spectrum. For some reason, violet got the short end of the stick and such frequency shift is actually called a blue shift

Blue is not good, it means SOMETHING is moving towards us unless these guys are just photoshopping artifacts into the picture.

To get visible blue shift, that something has to be moving a significant fraction of the speed of light. So, it means SOMETHING is moving towards us VERY FREAKING FAST unless these guys are just photoshopping artifacts into the picture. If it is aimed at us, we better hope it's a ship. Otherwise, it would crack the planet like an egg hit by a 9mm round...
