Bingo! Even liberal economists know that you can't play games with social engineering in the midst of a deep recession. If all the tax cuts had not been extended, there would have been a Wall Street sell off and unemployment would dive even lower.
It's second nature for Dem politicians to demagogue the evil rich, but they know the evil rich are what's keeping this economy afloat right now and that the evil rich butter their bread.
