A 15-year-old student was dismissed from his foreign exchange program after reportedly writing Death to Americans in Arabic on a classroom board during a discussion in November with classmates. The student was sent back to Israel on Friday evening, reports the Northwest Florida Daily News in Fort Walton Beach.
The students father, Khaled Kasab Mahameed, said the words were not written as a threat or with any malicious intent.
The fathers information is not consistent with the schools investigation of the incident, Superintendent of Schools Alexis Tibbetts told the Daily News.
The teens family members are Muslim Palestinians forced, Mahameed told the Daily News, to leave their homeland. They now travel and teach other Muslims and Arabs about the Jews as they advocate a message of peace, according to the Daily News. The teen was studying at Niceville High as part of the Youth Exchange and Study Program (YES) through AYUSA Global Youth Exchange. YES was created through a grant to AYUSA from the United States Department of State to build bridges of understanding between the United States and countries with significant Muslim populations, according to its website.
The teen's father is a lawyer. He told the Daily News he was looking into hiring an American lawyer to defend his son...

And I bet a bunch of Jewish lawyers will be fighting to take the case too. We are our own worst enemies. Somehow, liberal Jews believe if they're nice to Muslims they won't cut their heads off. Of course they will.
Also, NICEVILLE HIGH? Really?
The little punk was unfortunate enough to be in one of the most conservative areas of the country.
. . .
The students father, Khaled Kasab Mahameed, said the words were not written as a threat or with any malicious intent.
Of course not.
How could anybody possibly interpret that as a threat or having malicious intent.
That's exactly the kind of thing that anybody who advocates a message of peace would write or say, isn't it?
Ignorant savages...
Obama is their hero. Hopefully Bloomberg will give thousands of Muslims rent control apts on the Upper West Side in NYC so they can convert liberal Jews and non-Jews to Islam at the end of a sword.
Here are my “Bridges of understanding:
We win, you lose, period.
What other intent could there have been? We let him into our country, he thumbs his nose at us and threatens us. The father’s attitude says a lot about the little puke’s behavior. They seem to think he had some kind of right to be here. I hope they are both permanently installed on the DHS/State Department no visa-do not admit list.
Put his head in a vice. Wrap him in bacon. Send him home to his useless father. “Death to Americans”, my ass.
Quite honestly, I work in this industry and the YES program is one of great succes and huge importance. Clearly, a 15 year old can do something immensely stupid...a 15 year old from anywhere in the world. But, much good comes from this Department of State sponsored program. I have worked with kids from Israel, Lebanon, Northern Afica,Iraq, Jordan...who have come here hearing nothing but propaganda their whole lives and seen their eyes open to so much...
So, this kid did something ridiculously stupid...and, if he truly meant what he wrote, something bad...but it is a program with great merit and presents the opportunity to truly change hearts and minds. All hearts and minds, maybe not...but it is making a difference.
CAIR will get right on this injustice.
Death to Americans, but I mean that in a nice way?
In the very nicest, sweetest, most innocent way. With rainbows and unicorns.
Really? An American lawyer duly admitted to the Bar? Somehow I doubt that.
No, not at all. It was just routine stuff. Like they routinely blow up innocent people without malice. It is actually an act of love - love for 72 virgins and 28 boys promised in Islamic books.
I’m Jewish. I can’t explain the weird phenomenon, but I’ll tell you that it’s changing. More and more Jews are beginning to see the light.
