Money will not win the 2012 Republican Nomination battle for any potential candidate, but it will help them make their case for the general election later that year. It's true new media has a growing influence in the electorate, and in Conservative ranks, but when running against the human fundraiser, Barack Obama, the amount of dollars a candidate can counter-fundraise is absolutely crucial to victory.
So who leads on the fundraising front in the 2012 GOP Presidential field? Jim DeMint.

Seconds ago I received a phone call from RomneyPac (?), lol. I said no thank you my money is going to SarahPac. Kid you not he said “Alot are saying that” ???? lololol.
Money is not going to be the big reason for the nomination. However it sure helps.....lol. The story made it seem like Haley (who is not my first choice) had very little funds, but really 1.1 million at this time is not too bad especially since a few of them are below 2 million. The biggies are the only one’s with a big pot.

Paying money for the calls, or volunteers I wonder?
I really wish I would have asked more questions, he seemed very nice and willing to talk.
darn, missed a chance
I’d vote Demint in a NY minute.
Crazy day in the gocards house, just received a call from Huckabee. Huckabee and Romney within 30 minutes of each other. lol
” DeMint also has $1.3 million cash on hand, which is second in the GOP Presidential field to only Paul Ryan.”
“ Paul Ryan currently has more cash on hand than any other potential GOP candidate with $3.1 million,..”
Money needs to go to Tea Party backed candidates, not the GOP Machine.
DeMint is my first choice.
Palin next.
So good job for both Senator Demint and Sarah.
But the woman is amazing. Only 2 fundraising events and wallah ... 5 million, mostly from retail donation.
I want to know who donated most to “conservative candidates only” in the last campaign.
