If a disgruntled gay Private could access all of the wikileak cables by putting a thumbdrive into a DoD computer,

THEN THE RUSSIANS AND CHINESE ALREADY HAD THEM YEARS AGO!

At that point, the only ones being kept in the dark are ordinary people.

Remember Larry Wu-Tai Chin (金無怠)? He stole even more material than Manning, and wasn't detected for 30 years. He was probably the sloppiest successful spy in history, and the brainiacs at the CIA even gave him an intelligence medal (ironically, around the same time Red China secretly gave him one also.)

I have questioned for years if our security system was set up to keep Americans of foreigners from peeking. It certainly isn’t as effective as we are led to believe it is.
