If you had an official archive copy of the Official Hawaii State Seal at the time of obama’s supposed birth there - then it might be important - otherwise - ????
Why would it be important?
Mercy me... It would be important because IF obama actually had a birth certificate issued at the date he claims to have been born in Hawaii - it would have the Official Seal of Hawaii in use as of that date - NOT a seal from years later when it could have been changed by some state action - state law (the seal that is) ... Sometimes things like state seals and state flags get changed...
As far as I can tell, yes, that is what I see on my COLB. Its difficult to make out, but the points on the site linked here on its embossment appears to match what is on mine.

Ok, so your’s in 2010 appears to be the same as the one from Tickly’s 2005 document. Would you re-post yours or perhaps just a charcoal rubbing of the seal just so we could see if it’s been consistent over the last 5 years as that would further prove Hussein’s 2006 one is F-A-K-E.
I don’t think I want to be rubbing the seal with anything. Its on a piece of paper that’s been folded and unfolded a lot, and the imprint is worn. I am trying to take care of it, and deliberately damaging it that way, even just the pressure of rubbing it with charcoal is going to rub it down just that much further.
I have posted the darned thing too often now. Shoot you can likely find a copy of it pretty easy just searching on it. (sigh)
It was Polarik who first spotted the bogus Factcheck Seal over two years ago, IIRC.
There’s something else he knows now that’s important to tell you. The HDOH uses two different Seals on their COLBs as a SECURITY FEATURE. I don’t have a copy of the second one, but maybe I could get one. If so, I’ll post it here.
A rubbing is done by placing tissue paper over it and going over the tissue paper with a soft charcoal pencil, not rubbing charcoal on the document.
An update on the Hawaiian seal issue and also news that Fukino is gone from the HDOH.

I’m sorry, but I doubt that’s true. Anybody with eyes to see could see, upon viewing the “document”, that the seal was bogus.
