When I bought my mini-14, I bought a case of .223 for $80. Now that case sells for $450I have the ranch rifle. I wanted a mini-14 but the seller talked me into the mini-30, I think they call it. Ammo is pretty cheap if you get the Russian made stuff. Someone posted it's $240 a case.
If the ammo is good enough for the red army, I suppose it's mostly ok...

Cool. Mini-30 is my next rifle, I think...the steel with the carbon fiber stock. How do you like yours?
I want one rifle for each common type of ammo. 7.62 x 39 is next then .308. I’d love to have an M1 Garand!!
