If people en masse really are as desperate as the Rats claim, then they are eligble for welfare after their unemployment checks stop.

If they don’t qualify for welfare, then they have assets and income sufficient to avoid starvation at least.

I’m not suggesting people are not hurting. I’m saying the Rats have once again set up a pathetic straw man.

But, just before the elections, the media said the economy was coming around really fast, thanks to MaObama and his Democrat stimulus. Unemployment was way down, trending for a boom economy, stocks were running wild for positive ground, jobs were being “created” and that 2011 would be a full recovery for the economy.

But now that the Republicans have take charge of the house, I expect that things will become so bad that the Dark Ages would have been a better time to live in than now. (Not MaObama’s fault) The media is planning the propaganda campaign as we speak.
