What we really need is a dedicated group of Freepers who will post such things with increased frequency - maybe it will drive these few “disturbed” and “offended” content-Nazis to seek help. Clearly, their meds aren’t working.

The content isn’t the issue, you learning-impaired cretin.

It’s the claiming of other’s work as their own that makes video blogpimps unpalatable.

Try to pay attention.

Be advised historically Free Republic has heroically resisted any influence from Emily Post, Amy Vanderbilt, Roberts Rules Of Order or any of a dozen schools of rhetoric from Ancient Greece and Rome through the modern day Toastmasters or even the Boy Scout Oath as a model of civilized conduct.

An odd stance for a presumably conservative website.

This latest iteration of homegrown Free Republic trolls obsessed with Blogs, while new to me, is basically the tail end of a long line of trolls who apparently date back to the founding.

An early secure border advocate by the name of Madfly was heckled into Freepercide before Secure Borders became an acceptable topic of discussion.

Schisms between Free Republic factions first became widely noticed with the legendary Massilon, Ohio threads which ultimately led to the creation of the Smoky Back Room Forum.

For a website dedicated to the preservation of "history in the making" the high command exhibits a remarkably cavalier attitude toward the content generated by contributors.

Threads are not "locked" they are deleted outright if they are deemed sufficiently contaminated by just a few nitwits who pollute the dialogue with their tripe.

A troll poster by the name of Robert Paulsen raised havoc on banglist threads for months before his account was closed. But in at least one thread he generated some of the most passionate and well reasoned response comments I have ever witnessed on Free Republic.

Some moderator just came along and deleted the entire thread.

If you did not archive the material before it was deleted it was just lost forever.

Very demoralizing.

So this is the dragon you confront.

If you can exert some positive influence on this sad state of affairs have at it.

Within reason, I would be happy to assist.

Best regards,
