I got back from a deployment just in time for the last bit of campaigning and the elections in 2008; here’s what I wrote upon returning:

In short, are you, the American people, worth my blood, sweat, and tears? Should any police officer, marine, soldier, or seaman give their life for you? Do you want your God-given rights, or are you willing to surrender even those enumerated in our Constitution? You tell me… once, I thought that the answer was a resounding ‘Yes!’ but now I am unsure. I am unconvinced that you even want what liberty you have

I never thouht that I would live to see the day, but from what I have seen, read, and heard, the answers to your questions are: Question number one,no.

Question number two, no.

Question number three, Yes.

Some still want their liberty, whether they are willing to do what it takes to keep it remain yet to be seen. The majority, as evidenced by their votes, don't. They prefer "free" healthcare or some other "freebie". Thet are too sorry to work and too nervious to steal, so, they elect politicians to steal for them.

When I look back to what we once were as a Nation and see what we have become, I get sick. .
