As far as I know this book was not ghostwritten. Palin herself wrote most of her 1st book. reading the book it sounds like Palin talking. That is very hard to fake.

I just think of Aunt Naomi and I can imitate Sarah day and night. Her peculiarities of speech are pret'near what you find in a triangle formed by Mooresville, Paoli and Crothersville Indiana.

AN incredible number of people from that area abandoned the Lower 48 and went to numerous parts of Alaska in the 1920 to 1950 period.

Ted Stevens was an anomaly ~ he was from Brightwood (a large neighborhood in Indianapolis). However, he had relatives from that very same place.

Still, she doesn't do enough "r coloring" for my taste, so she needs to point that up a bit ~ then she'll really be more authentic than she ever imagined.
