Any way to impeach or remove a judge like this? We’ve got to remove a few judges so the rest get the picture. I’m just not sure how you go about doing it.

A number of states elect their judges directly; others use the "MO Rule" which means that they are appointed by a recommendation from a "judicial panel" made up of bar assn. lawyers and others, then appointed by the Governor (whoever that is.) They come up for "election" to keep or deny every 2/4 years. Many times the voters approve them without even knowing their records.

Some of us (people for the direct election of the voters not appointment) desire that at least the entire record of these people be public before any Governor appoints them, at the very least but we'd rather vote on these judges directly.

The powerful ABA runs ads claiming that the judges be "non-partisan," which winds up being very political and usually very liberal, even in conservative states.
