The purpose of the leaks seem painfully obvious here. Now that the world has been given this correspondence, it makes it clear that Obama did not ever give a green light to attack Iran and give in to the JOOS.

The JOOS were were given the bunker buster against Obama's will and he was 'forced' to hide that fact while trying to solve the problem with 'diplomacy'.

So now, if the JOOS attack Iran, they are doing so, on their own, by themselves and the world can hold them alone responsible. Not poor little Obamatron who was just trying to get along.
