The three rounds of WikiLeaks releases pose an extraordinary, and novel, challenge for the American government.
On one hand, they've produced a moment of remarkable impotence: The administration has proved unable to stop a band of hackers from the fever swamps from obtaining and posting thousands of its secrets.

BUSH!!! CHENEY!!! Oh wait, this was ordered by the Obama regime:
Washington also wanted credit card numbers, email addresses, phone, fax and pager numbers and even frequent-flyer account numbers for UN figures and "biographic and biometric information on UN Security Council permanent representatives".
He said he was going to change the way things were done. He's just another puppet. Posted By: I BELIEVED | November 28, 2010 at 02:27 PM
The government has been seizing domain names... why not theirs?
Would someone who has worked in the military intelligence field or government information security tell us how a private first class could have had access to all this information, downloaded it all and sent it out without being stopped?
Thank you for link. Unreal really unreal.
In my view, it’s “our bad” if one guy can so easily steal such a huge volume of information.
Certainly he should be hanged for treason, but the major domos who oversee this bungling operation need to be held accountable.
As one who had a Top Secret Crypto clearance, I have been arguing this point from the first time these leaks started. Someone was trying to tell me they linked all of the Secret and lower documents on a central access system. What a collosal incompetent move if true.
What is worse is the physical security must also have been terrible, or this was all orchestrated with Manning being the fall guy. For all of those responsible for the physical security details, it is amazing we are hearing of no others who are in the klink as unwhitting acomplices.
When a government will not defend it’s secrets it will soon have no secrets. Foe example, if the New York Times had been made to pay a heavy price for revealing Bin Laden’s satellite phone use this type of debacle and the underlying treason would be rare.
Agreed. Just as refusal to execute the Death penalty, so does the refusal to stop and punish traitors with that death penalty lose it’s deterrent effect.
This guy should be executed and the guy who is printing it should have a bad accident that he cannot survive.
“downloaded it all and sent it out without being stopped? ANOTHER EXCELLENT QUESTION. All of them are great questions, anyone know?”
After 9/11 the government developed a system to more easily share information between departments. Get this, the system is called - SIPR (Secret Internet Protocol System) Net system. Yeah,it’s SECRET! Shhhhh
Any military or civilian users with the proper security clearance could access it and Private Bradley had that clearance.
The Obama administration, impotent! No!
Question - if the Wikileaks merry band [sic] could hack all this stuff, could they not also change it before leaking it? Add, delete, make it worse in some way? How would anyone know if the leaked stuff is totally accurage “as is” or has been tampered in some way?
Nother question. (It’s hard to follow every detail of every issue all the time!).
So these newly released (or soon to be released) Wikileaks stuff was all leaked by that one fag who leaked stuff about Afghanistan some time ago?
Same one guy?
I want to see the emails and telephone transcripts between little pinch and caroline kennedy schlossberg.
It seems to me it is. If anyone who reads this can clear it up?
I’ve been skipping from one of these threads to another. The leaks are from one date which I can’t remember to March 2010. It seems that the sicko freak faggot is the source of all the leaks. If I’m wrong, someone correct me!
I looked it up and think it was a guy named Daniel Ellsberg maybe the first time.
