In this clip Rush reviews recent AP news that "unemployment claims dropped sharply to 407K and October durable goods orders dropped 3.3 percent." An AP poll says that Americans are more disciplined about using their credit cards this year since we are deep into a "stubbornly harsh economic downturn, resisting all of the efforts of the administration to fix it". Consumers are still shying away from the type of spending needed to dramatically lower the 9.6 unemployment rate. Rush comments: "I thought government was going to lower unemployment rate with the stimulus package, porkulous 1 &2. TARP, and all those massive Obama tax cuts. I thought that was supposed to lower unemployment. Now AP tells us that it's going to be consumer spending. Now they tell us!"
Don’t believe anything from Associated Propaganda.
“resisting all of the efforts of the administration to fix it”
I googled that, and there’s no AP article that used that phrase.
AP = another pile

AP was once the gold standard in straight news reporting.
If Rush said it, there is an article that says that, otherwise AP would sue him silly. You ever think of the possibility they(AP) removed it from the internet?
resisting all of the efforts of the administration to fix it
You have to put several articles together to get this sentence. It’s Rush’s statement of a compilation of the.

With these you can see what Rush’s is getting at.
So according to these marxists the economy won’t recover because consumers are not spending money.
So in the backwards world of the left, if people would just spend more money they would HAVE MORE JOBS!
Lying again to save their messiah!
Here are the jobless claim numbers for last week in Oregon.
New claims rose from 9,728 the week before to 11,629.
Total benefits paid out increased from $47,179,243 to $48,648,527.
Yup, that’s recovery alright!
The Fed’s have manipulated their seasonally adjusted formulas to skew the numbers.
Walter Cronkite... the old commie fart, was once the “Most Trusted man in America”. I hear ya!
