All of you had something negative, snarky, or something out of context to say about Governor Palin about her slip of the tongue concerning North-South Korea.

Why haven’t any of you posted on this thread congratulating her on putting the record straight and handling the press they way they should be handled?

Is it because you lack any true objectivity where Sarah Palin is concerned?

If Palin wants to highlight how she’s a lot like Obama then so be it.

Well I think by the first paragraph she makes clear the double standard as which she is held (i.e., a clown like Obama can become President - after all of that, but she makes one little mistake and gets creamed for it).

Hopefully she will learn from this and take a bit more time to put her answers together, so it doesn’t happen again, or at least happens infrequently enough. So I do congratulate her...she’s learning just how careful she will need to be.

I didn’t post on this thread, however...

Sarah Palin had no business making a statement on North Korea vs. South Korea.
Have you heard the maxim, “Loose lips sink ships?”
I think it is a good one and vital on matters of national security.

Mrs. Palin does not hold a position in the current administration. In fact, she doesn’t hold any government position at all. She QUIT the office to which she was elected by the people of Alaska.

She only speaks for herself, but she DOES get too much publicity for it and needs to be careful what she says.

It is the job of the current administration, the President and the SECSTATE, other top national security advisors to make official statements about matters of grave importance such as North Korea vs. South Korea. They are handling it. It is impudent of someone as irrelevant as Palin to try to upstage and disrupt those who hold high office. She kind of reminds me of Code Pink when she does this stuff.

She doesn’t want to be another Jane Fonda or Tokyo Rose, does she?

And, SoConPubbie, you need to think twice about treating others on forum abusively when they have not been speaking to YOU at all. And se ohio young conservative, you are simply ridiculous.

Too bad for you guys there will always be thinking people in this country and on this forum as long as it exists.
