Zogby is a Dem. If that’s the case, it must be lower than 39%...say 18% approval?
Interesting point is that if its Obama v Bloomberg, the vast majority of Republicans AS WELL AS the majority of Independents choose neither. This suggests that in a match-up between Obama, Bloomberg and say, Palin, that Bloomberg pulls votes away from Obama, not Palin.

Zogby is a CAIR-supporting (and Dem-supporting) con man who releases phony poll numbers to draw headlines for his own purposes.
He has done it shamelessly since the 2000 Presidential election and for years was used almost exclusively by MSNBC until I think even they were embarrassed by his excesses.
Now that he has put down this marker of 39% I would expect his next move to be something like showing Obama at 45-55% after the first of the year, when the Republicans have taken up their new positions in Congress.
In this manner Zogby will “demonstrate” Obama’s stunning resurgence in the face of right-wing obstructionism.
I don’t know what Obama’s real poll numbers might be. Probably have to check Rasmussen for that. I just know that Zogby lies virtually non-stop.
