So you're saying...we should just quit trying to nominate conservatives? Is that your point?

I personally believe Goldwater's "problem' was the country was voting a sympathy vote after the Kennedy assassination, and no Republican could have won that year...it was a long time ago and I was very small, but that is my impression.

I will say I believe the population of this country has a conservative majority that would rally around a decent, honest conservative candidate that openly spelled out their vision for America. Some one with clearly defined values and a love of this country as it was founded. Add an incredible family and a track record of accomplishments (that are going unnoticed now...wait for the campaign!) and she can win in a landslide.

My dream ticket: Palin/Rubio ... the two hottest rising stars in conservative America.
