am i to believe that there is not ONE SINGLE RADAR pointed west that would confirm the track as horizontal at altitude or vertical from the surface???

NOT ONE???

good thing it wasn't pointed inland or the first notice would be when it hit...

We have had over the horizon radar facilities for thirty or forty years. The problem is that a politician has been known to lie for the sake of supposed national defense or probably more likely for the sake of their own political preservation.

The radar, developed by Raytheon, is used primarily to detect and track sea-launched (SLBM) and intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs).

AN/FPS-108 COBRA DANE was built in 1976... for the primary mission of intelligence gathering in support of verification of the SALT II arms limitation agreement.
