Clue in on the fact that the FILMS, both of them, are OUT OF SEQUENCE in certain ways that are clearly designed to TRICK the viewers into thinking they are seeing a rocket.

No, the TOTAL BULL is on your side of the debate. Not only that we have something very akin to Rathergate.

Continued adherence to the "missile thesis" plays into the hands of the Far Leftwing Media who are trying to sell America down the river.

Its almost as if someone wanted a conspiracy theory.

Magicians and Illusionists call it "misdirection".....

with all the military facilities on the west coast a fly shouldn't be able to go unnoticed, but yet, not word from the military

My post was merely a cross reference to the same topic.

And Cass Sunstein has called conspiracy theories a viable tool to be used as a political strategy. He's spoken of planting them to discredit or distract political enemies and create divisions among them.

discredit or distract

Makes perfect sense. When folks are off in the weeds they're not moving towards the objective.

The military and the CIA (and the OSS before them) use this sort of tactic all the time. I was just reading a story about project "Eldest Son" during the Viet Nam era. This program sought to reload captured enemy ammo (AK, large caliber machine guns and mortars) with high explosives, then scatter the reloaded ammo around so that the enemy would use it (with personally devastating effects). The goal was to cast doubt in the minds of the Viet Cong over the Chinese ammo they were using. I sent you an excerpt of the article from American Rifleman. A quite interesting read on the depths to which the military and the CIA use deception as a primary tactic. The real interesting part was how they adjusted their efforts to steer the goals of the deception.

Interesting read. I’ve always been interested in psyops type stuff and suspect its where I would have landed if I had joined the military.

Its not the sort of thing that should be used against the American people by our own government. Unfortunately psychology has been used against the American people. Progressives have been using crowd psychology against Americans for a long time. Most famous would be Edward Bernays who worked for the Wilson administration.

>>If we understand the mechanism and motives of the group mind, is it not possible to control and regiment the masses according to our will without their knowing about it? The recent practice of propaganda has proved that it is possible, at least up to a certain point and within certain limits.”<<

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Bernays

Bernays was quite proud that his book “The Crystalization of Public Opinion” was a source of Joeseph Goebbels propaganda strategy.

How can you think a missile launch off our coast plays into the hands of left-wing media? It is exactly the opposite and you are the unwitting shill. The CinC is an ignorant Democrat that all foreign government laugh at in private.

Any foreign military action off our coast proves without a doubt that threats exist that only a staunch Goldwater/Reagan Conservative can address.

All I needed to see was the moment when the Cameraman pulled in close to show the roiling dark smoke disgorged from the exhaust nozzle of the solid propellant rocket. I did not need to look for edit marks or cutting and splicing of video to deceive. It was what it was. Those looking for mind tricks are creating the tricks themselves.

There was no “dark” anything in the plane’s exhaust.

Now you are getting ridiculous. Barry Goldwater was a pilot. He'd know the difference Fur Shur.

It's still an airplane.

Unfortunately psychology has been used against the American people.

Taxation is a prime example. Taxation has become a lot more about behavior modification than revenue generation. If the gubmint were really interested in generating revenue they would lower taxes across the board. The current system is designed to allow certain people to succeed and prosper while keeping others "in their place"......

Getting back to the “missile question” the following video is from a launch today/yesterday of America’s most powerful rocket. It left NO CONTRAIL OF ANY KIND, just some smoke at the launchpad, and was OUTTASIGHT in 30 seconds!............... http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=7076836n&tag=related;photovideo
